Description
The cauliflower “Snowball” is the best known traditional cauliflower variety that has been growing all over Europe since the end of the 19th century. It is a productive variety that produces compact, medium-sized heads with white flowers, giving it the characteristic snowball appearance from which it takes its name. This vegetable is an ideal choice for boiled or raw, crunchy salads, as a pickled vegetable and can be used in may well give unique taste to your cooking choices.
Cauliflower is grown outdoors and is ideally planted in the autumn months.
Harvesting usually takes place 4-5 months after planting. Its cultivation is not particularly demanding so it is a good choice for amateur gardeners.
