Description
The upright rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is an evergreen, perennial plant with tall, straight branches. It is one of the most hardy aromatic plants, both in the pot and in the field. In spring and autumn it produces small pink and white flowers; it prefers sunny dry environments, and if planted in the ground can be watered exclusively for rainfall.
All year round you can collect its leaves which are used in cooking. The flowers attract bees and are therefore widely used in beekeeping. It has been called a traditional medicine for indigestion, dyspepsia, dysmenorrhea and headache.
