Description
Beetroot or beetroot is a traditional vegetable, the cultivation of which has flourished in the Mediterranean regions for many centuries. It is a vegetable with broad green leaves, whose root is edible and therefore used whole in salads, raw or boiled. It is considered a product of high nutritional value as it is a rich source of vitamins, antioxidants and magnesium.
Beetroot is grown outdoors, usually during the autumn months in well-drained soil. Harvesting usually takes place 2.5-5 months after planting . Its cultivation has no special requirements for this it is a good choice for amateur gardeners.
